Chief Clinical Officer
Gary Stroud brings over 29 years of experience in the surgical services arena to PREZIO Health and as CCO is responsible for driving the clinical strategic direction of the organization. He has a passion for combining evidence-based best practices and the power of data to drive sustainable improvements in patient outcomes, operational efficiencies, and staff satisfaction for our customers.
Prior to joining PREZIO Health in January 2012, Gary worked in various staff and leadership roles within the Intermountain Healthcare System in Salt Lake City, Utah, an organization known for implementing evidence-based best practices. Gary is credited with implementing the Surgical Services Clinical Program, which is responsible for coordinating clinical and operational improvement activities across 23 hospitals and several ambulatory surgery centers. His experience has afforded first-hand awareness of the importance of working collaboratively with leadership to identify and focus on initiatives that optimize clinical and financial outcomes.
At PREZIO Health, Gary is leading the development of actionable, automated informatics that support the company‚Äôs pledge to reduce sources of chaos in the perioperative environment, thereby advancing sustainable improvements in care and business effectiveness for hospitals throughout the country.
Gary served in the Utah Army and Air National Guard for 21 years and is a veteran of the Persian Gulf War. In 2005 he retired from the military as a Major.
Gary completed his undergraduate and graduate education at the University of Utah. In his spare time, Gary enjoys boating, fishing, hiking and spending time with his family.
